October 08: Greg Carroll / Paul Gillmore |
Date: 28th October 2008 Speakers: Greg Carroll, Paul Gillmore
Topic: The Global
Credit Crisis and its impacts for you.
The events of the last 12 months represent a fundamental shift in the global economy and are likely to involve a redistribution of wealth. The result will be a widening gap between the haves and the have nots. The question for you is which one will you be? Or more importantly, which one do you want to be? And what can you do to make sure you end up on the right side?
In light of all the doom and gloom that we read in the papers it's hard not to feel concerned about the future. But as we know the media thrive on bad news and don't always have a grasp on what is really happening in the market.
The aim of this session is to cut through the media clutter and lay out in a straight forward and practical manner the issues that are currently affecting property and financial markets, the things you need to consider to ensure you are well placed to ride out the storm, and how to position yourself to take advantage of the opportunities that will emerge.
