Matusik Property Insights was established in 1998. The company's Founder and Director, Michael Matusik, had worked in the Property Industry specifically related to residential property research, for 19 years. Michael started Matusik with the knowledge that there were no independent services available to the industry. Most research in Brisbane and South East Queensland was conducted by departments within real estate firms, which did not afford true and/or realistic results for the region.

Michael prides himself on being exceptionally passionate about the industry and his organisation. Known for his 'no holds barred' results for clients, he tells it exactly as it is, and is prepared to say what other commentators will not. As a regular, weekly commentator on an ABC talk-radio programme, Michael's name has become synonymous with the words, "residential property guru".
